White De-icing Salt – Delivery Information
Delivery usually takes 1–2 working days. This may change during extreme weather when demand is higher.
Your order will arrive on a wooden pallet. The driver will lower the pallet using a hydraulic tail-lift. They will then move it with a hand-operated pallet truck. We can only guarantee kerbside delivery. If possible, the driver may move the pallet to another area such as a driveway or path.
This is only possible on firm, level ground like concrete, block paving or tarmac. It is also at the driver’s discretion. The pallet truck will not work on uneven or soft surfaces such as grass or gravel. It also cannot operate on steep slopes. If the pallet remains at the kerbside, you must move the product to your preferred area.
Please inform us prior to placing your order if there are any access restrictions or difficulties for large delivery vehicles at your designated delivery location. This includes, but is not limited to, narrow roads, low bridges, weight limits, or limited turning space, as it may impact our ability to deliver your order efficiently. You can provide this information in the ‘Customer Notes’ section on the checkout page.
Deliveries are made Monday-Friday 8pm-5pm.
White salt is typically finer in particle size compared to brown rock salt. This means it flows more smoothly, making it less likely to clog or jam within mechanical salt spreaders and application equipment, ensuring a more consistent and hassle-free de-icing process.
