14 Cu Ft Heavy Duty Recycled Grit Bin 400 Litre/500kg Capacity

This lockable 14 cu ft Heavy Duty Recycled Grit Bin 400 litre is one of the UK’s best-selling grit bins because it is well designed, extremely strong and to keep your grit salt safe and secure, it is fitted with an electroplated hasp and staple (padlock not supplied).

The bin is suitable for storing grit salt on large residential or commercial premises and is manufactured from durable, UV stabilised recycled polyethylene and is available only in black.

The bin features an angled lid designed to prevent large amounts of snow and ice from settling on top of the bin. The angled lid also allows rainwater to run off without forming puddles on top of the bin.

The word ‘GRIT’ is moulded into the lid and this is a graphic that is applied to the tool at the moulding stage, meaning it is an integral part of the moulding so will not scratch off.

We offer home and site delivery, however this will only be possible if the surface is firm and level, such as concrete, block paving and tarmac etc and at the driver’s discretion. The pallet truck will not operate on any uneven or soft surface such as grass or gravel or on steep slopes. If the pallet is left at the home and site kerb side it will then be your responsibility to transfer the product to your preferred area. If there is an access issue for large vehicles (the size of a refuse lorry etc) on the roads leading to your property, please let us know before you place your order.
