2 Cu Ft Grit Bin Lockable – 50 Litre / 50 kg capacity
Keep your driveway, patio, garden or path free from snow and ice this winter by storing your own rock salt in our Small Lockable Grit Bin.
To keep your stock of grit / salt safe and secure, this grit bin is fitted with a 3” hasp and staple. Please note a padlock is not supplied.
This compact and versatile grit bin is manufactured from UV-resistant recycled polyethylene and is the ideal grit bin for home use. The bin is available in a choice of colours including sandstone and stone effect to look attractive in your garden or on your path or driveway.
The grit bin features an angled lid designed to minimise the amount of snow and ice settling on top of the bin, therefore ensuring ease of use even in winter weather. The angled lid also allows rainwater to run off.
The 2 cu ft grit bins are inter-stackable up to 10 high, making them ideal for storage during the summer months when not being used for storing grit salt. This also means great savings on delivery charges as up to 40 bins can be shipped on a standard size pallet.
Your order will arrive on a wooden pallet. The driver will lower this to the ground using the hydraulic tail-lift fitted to the vehicle and use a hand operated pallet truck to move the pallet off the tail-lift platform. We can only guarantee a kerb side delivery, however where possible the driver will attempt to move the pallet to another area (driveway, pathway etc). This will only be possible if the surface is firm and level, such as concrete, block paving and tarmac etc and at the driver’s discretion. The pallet truck will not operate on any uneven or soft surface such as grass or gravel or on steep slopes. If the pallet is left at the kerbside it will then be your responsibility to transfer the product to your preferred area. If there is an access issue for large vehicles (the size of a refuse lorry etc) on the roads leading to your property, please let us know before you place your order.
